Evernow Reviews: Membership, Costs and Common Complaints

The short answer

Public Evernow reviews are mixed. People praise individual providers and the option to use insurance for video visits, while critical reviews focus on charges they didn’t expect, ongoing membership fees, prescription delays and changing providers. As listed in Evernow’s FAQ, membership costs $49 a month (less on longer plans), self-pay video visits are $150, and medication is extra.

What is Evernow?

Evernow is an online menopause clinic. Its clinicians, whom it describes as trained in perimenopause and menopause care, can prescribe hormone therapy and other treatments after an online health profile and, if you choose, video visits. According to Evernow’s FAQ, there are two ways to start: a membership with unlimited secure messaging and optional video visits, or pay-per-visit care without a membership. It says it is available in all 50 states plus D.C. and fills prescriptions either through your local pharmacy or its partner pharmacies.

What do Evernow reviews commonly praise?

On public review pages such as Evernow’s Trustpilot listing, read on October 26, 2026, positive reviews mention:

  • Good individual providers. Some describe their provider as thorough, responsive and kind.
  • Insurance for visits. Reviewers appreciate being able to use insurance for video visits.
  • Resolution when asked. A few say billing problems were fixed and refunds issued after they followed up.

What are the most common Evernow complaints?

The reviews we read on that page leaned critical, so weigh them alongside other sources and your own needs.

Charges and membership fees

The most common complaint is a charge the reviewer didn’t expect, such as a higher amount than first shown or a missed-appointment fee they disputed, and frustration with recurring membership fees. Evernow’s FAQ sets out the membership prices and says membership fees are not covered by insurance, though they may be HSA or FSA eligible.

Prescriptions and labs

Some reviewers describe delays in getting a prescription sent or running out of medication, and some wanted labs or testing their provider didn’t order. Evernow says it only requires labs for select medications and offers additional labs case by case.

Continuity of care

Several reviewers mention changing providers or replies that felt templated, which made consistent care harder.

How should you read Evernow reviews?

  • Billing complaints often hinge on which plan or option the reviewer chose, so read the terms for the option you pick.
  • Experiences with one provider don’t tell you about another.
  • Reviews can’t tell you whether hormone therapy is safe or effective for you; that depends on your history.

Evernow compared with other options

Evernow suits people who want ongoing messaging access plus the option of insurance-covered video visits and FDA-approved medications. Others prefer one flat monthly price. Amie HRT+ is a compounded estradiol and progesterone cream prescribed after an online review by a licensed clinician, with no membership fee. Unlike the FDA-approved products Evernow offers, it is compounded and not FDA-approved. A clinician decides whether it is appropriate for you.
